Naomi Osaka wanted one thing after routing Serena Williams in the Australian Open semifinals on Wednesday night.
“Mari stop sending weird images in the groupchat!”
That was what the world’s No. 3 scribbled on the camera in a message to her sister.
Mari Osaka, 24, is also a professional tennis player, and she shed some light on the messages that were freaking her younger sister out.
Mari posted two images — that have since been removed — to her Instagram story. The first read, “To the people asking what i sent in the gc.” The second, which was captured by USA Today before being taken down, is indeed a disturbing shot of an eyeball getting licked (click through at your own risk).
Osaka takes on Jennifer Brady in the Australian Open final on Saturday (3:30 AM EST) looking for her fourth Grand Slam title.
