A person was fatally struck by a train at an Upper East Side station early Monday, officials said.
The unidentified person was hit by a northbound 4 or 5 train at the 86th Street/Lexington Avenue station around 6:15 a.m., according to police.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the FDNY said.
No further information was immediately available.
