An investigation is underway after state police pulled over a U-Haul moving truck transporting six people, including two children, in its cargo area.

Troopers stopped the van on Garden State Parkway in Toms River just after noon on Sunday — after they received a 911 call from inside the back of the vehicle, officials said.

Kidnapping has been ruled out in the incident, and no charges have yet to have been filed, police said.

It’s unclear why the four adults and two children were in the back of the van, and why they called the police while in traffic on the 65-mph parkway.

The identities of the passengers and driver where not released.
