Spring is in the air.

Sunshine and “near-record-setting” temps will thaw out the Big Apple Friday, followed by a balmy Saturday reaching the high 60s, forecasters said.

But it won’t last long, so New Yorkerers should enjoy it while they can.

Thunderstorms Friday morning will give way to clear skies and a high of 77 degrees in the afternoon, AccuWeather senior meteorologist Paul Walker told The Post on Thursday.

“It’s a near-record-setting high,” Walker said of the expected early springtime warmth.

“But the wind will help keep people cool; it should be very nice.”

On Saturday, weather in New York City is forecast to see a sunny high of 66 degrees, Walker said — but it will be fleeting.

“You might even want to put on some sunscreen,” the meteorologist said. “But unfortunately it’s not going to last. It’s just the way spring is with bursts of warmth that don’t stick around quite yet.”

Overall, the month of March has so far seen an average temperature of 42.6 degrees in Central Park, more than 4 degrees higher than the average on record for the month historically.

However, the mercury will drop on Sunday, with the Big Apple expected to be hit with rain as temperatures fall to a high of 59 and a low of 44.

Monday is forecast to see a high of 53 and a low of 38 degrees.
