A Texas motorcycle cop is under investigation for threatening a motorist at gunpoint, telling the stunned driver, “I’ll f—-ng kill you,” according to frightening footage of the incident.
George Dickerson and his work colleague were driving on Houston’s South Loop on Feb. 22 when they tried to get around a funeral procession — and a cop stopped short in front of them, causing Dickerson to brake suddenly, KTRK-TV said.
A second motorcycle cop then walked up to his truck with his gun drawn, video shows.
“Do that s–t again,” the officer snaps at Dickerson, opening the driver’s side door.
“Do what?” Dickerson answers, holding his hands up. “I haven’t done anything.”
“Throw your f—-g car at me again,” the cop snarls. “I’ll f—-g kill you.”
“I didn’t,” Dickerson responds.
“Yes you f—-g did,” the cop shoots back. “Do that f—-g s–t again.”
Dickerson’s passenger, who shot the footage of the encounter, is heard trying to explain that the officer stopped abruptly in front of them and they couldn’t get around.
But the officer slams the car door and walks away.
“I was terrified,” Dickerson told KTRK. “I had a gun to my face. He’s threatening to kill me because I stopped my truck. I didn’t want to hit this guy. I stopped my truck and he’s threatening to kill me because he thought I did it intentionally, I guess.”
His passenger later posted the video, which began circulating online and caught the attention of the cop’s bosses at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
“We are aware of a video posted on social media that appears to show a roadside encounter between a deputy and a motorist,” the office tweeted. “An investigation into the incident will be conducted by our Internal Affairs Division.”
According to KNUE, the deputy was placed on administrative leave.
